Agility is a competitive sport that enables dogs and their owners to have some fun, excitement and exercise. The objective of the game is for the handler to help their dog negotiate an obstacle course within a limited amount of time. Obstacles include several types of jumps, tunnels, and structures to climb. | |
K9 Planet offers classes to those interested in learning more about agility. Anyone who wishes to spend quality time with their dog is welcome to join in the fun, as long as the dog has some basic obedience. |

Our Agility classes teach the dog how to safely manoeuvre the various obstacles - A-frame, dogwalk, Seesaw, weave poles, tunnels, jumps and more. They teach the handler how to guide their dog through the agility course, with an eye on safety and control - not just speed! We use the same positive approach to agility training that we use in all our classes. Agility is for dogs of any breed or mixed breed. |
